Supplies of sexy ladies up in Hollyoaks-land seem nigh-on inexhaustible these days – and they’re getting better all the time! If it were a real place, we’d move there in a heartbeat – but since it’s not, we’ll have to give you this incredible shoot with Loui Batley instead. Her character’s seen it all – her mum’s had an affair with her ex-boyfriend. Rhys, her current boyfriend, craig’s having an affair (with another fella!), she’s given up being an Olympic swimmer and now she’s turned to modelling. Which seemed like a good point to ask her to take her clothes off in real life. Which she did!

How was your first ever Maxim shoot?

	I don't say the word 'no' to people very often, really - I'm pretty much a yes girl...

It went really well – I love doing photo shoots! I still had my underwear on but it’s very sexy. There’s a boudoir kind of thing going on.

What’s been your best onscreen moment so far?

I like doing the current storyline – the love triangle has been good.

What do you think of [her character] Sarah Barnes?

My character has changed a lot since I started – she used to be this innocent schoolgirl, and now she’s grown into a woman.

Which was more fun – playing her as a swimmer or a model?

Definitely as a model! In the swimming scenes I had to wear swimming caps and goggles – and I had to get into this manky pool all the time, which was never cleaned. It was just horrible! So, definitely the modelling side of things because you get to wear nice clothes and just totter around the village!

Has any bloke ever asked you to wear a swimming cap in bed?

Nooo! Definitely not! They’d be out the door if they did.

Which swimming pool rules have you broken?

I bomb in the pool all the time! I haven’t done it recently but I might give it another try. The worst thing I saw was when I was younger and a friend of mine pooped in the school pool… we were quite young and had to be evacuated from the water while they fished it out.

Your character’s had a lot of weird stuff happen to her: how would you act in these situations: your mum pulling your boyfriend?

He’d be out the door. Sarah took him back, but there’s no way with me! I’d disown my mum. I’d make them both suffer – they wouldn’t get away with it!

Delivering a baby?

I think I’d quite enjoy doing that. But only if it wasn’t sprung on me like it was on the show. I’m not good with blood and stuff like that, and really small babies scare me a little bit.

Having your secret nuddy pictures shown to everyone?

I don’t think I’d like that!

We’ve got some storyline ideas, tell us what you think of them: You and Louise [Roxanne McKee} decide that you’re both lesbians and you spend the rest of your time on the show getting it on with each other.

I love it! I’m sure Roxy would as well. I’ll put it to the producer…

An evil goblin arrives and casts a spell over you so every time you say the word, ‘no’, your clothes magically fall off.

That sounds good… but I don’t say ‘no’ that often, really. I’m pretty much a ‘yes’ girl.

You become a ninja and you go on a wild killing spree, decapitating all the people that have ever pissed you off.

Yeeeah! The whole show would be dead though – everyone pisses Sarah off.

Who would be the first to go?

JP if my character ever finds out.he’s seeing Craig! I think Rhys would get a bit of a kicking, as well. And my mother. Yeah, if I were a ninja she’d be first to go.

What was the last thing to make you do a loud, snorty laugh?

I snort all the time. Since I saw Miss Congeniality, I thought it was really cool that she snorted so I taught myself to snort when I laugh and now I can’t stop. I do it all the time.

Do you have any nicknames?

Lou, Lulabelle, Lulamay, Batty… my mum used to call me Nora Batty. My car is the Batmobile. I’m the world’s worst driver. I just bump into things all the time.

When was the last time you got really pissed?

I had a few cocktails last night. I love cocktails. I’m obsessed with them.

Do you go out drinking with your co-stars a lot?

Yeah – sometimes the schedule’s quite busy, but we try to. I just like going out and dancing and stuff.

What’s the worst state you’ve seen anyone in on a night out?

Some of the boys are the worst. I’ve seen quite of few of them in a pretty drunken state. I’m not going to name names though, because I’d get battered at work!

What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve said to a bloke while you were drunk?

I probably just shouted some compliments . When I’m sober,
I don’t normally give many compliments. The love inside comes out when I’m a bit tipsy!

Do you get recognised a lot?

A lot of people recognise me, but I never get chatted up. I must have a wall or something. But I’m quite happy being single.

If one of our readers wanted to chat you up, how should they go about it?

They could just buy me a very nice drink. If they started off with that, it would keep me going on from there. But the guy should always come to the girl.

What sort of blokes do you go for?

I have the weirdest taste! It really varies, but I like talent. I like musicians, actors – just people that are really talented and are really enthusiastic about what they do. I do go for some weird-looking people.

Where’s the best place to hide on the Hollyoaks set?

One of the bedrooms. You can go in, turn the lights off and sleep.

What would you like to do in the future?

I would like to do more television and film and a bit of theatre. I’m definitely doing more acting.

Have you ever been naked in a public place?

I kind of go naked on the beach – but not fully naked. I go half naked, mainly because I don’t like tan lines.

Aren’t you worried about people taking pictures?

No, they’re only boobies. And I go to nice, secluded places.

Would you ever do a totally nude shoot?

If it was classy. I would never do a porny thing. I’m not prudish about a woman’s body.

I’ll do it for £15. Ha ha ha!
