Lamborghini has proved that cliché wrong by replacing the gobsmackingly beautiful Gallardo with the even more gobsmackingly beautiful LP560-4. But before you rush to the toilet nursing a semi, you should know that it’s not just better looking – it’s faster too. It has a mid-mounted 5.2-litre V10 engine with 560bhp, hence the name. The ‘4’ in the name relates to the improved four-wheel-drive system, so you can go round corners even quicker without dying. Exactly how much this Italian stunner will cost hasn’t been decided yet, but if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford one. Actually, that cliché is also bollocks, as it will cost around £130,000 when it goes on sale later this year.
